La actividad, made during the days 6 and 7 October in 12 municipalities in the department, Its purpose was to reduce the environmental impact generated by these wastes and to raise awareness among companies and citizens in general about the importance of making a final disposal of them to avoid health effects.

The event, led by Corpoguajira had the support of local authorities and cleaning operators. In addition, they joined 118 organizaciones, companies and public and private institutions.
