Corpoguajira and UNDP lead drawing contest in Dibulla
DRY FORESTS inspiration to CHILDREN

Four educational institutions in La Guajira are included to participate in the drawing contest that allows talent to be awarded, the creativity and ingenuity of the little ones in the rural areas of Dibulla, while learning to take care of their ecosystems including dry forests. This is a UNDP proposal that in alliance with Corpoguajira through the PRAES (School Environmental projects) that leads in the region, They intend to involve all the children of the areas of influence of the existing dry forests in the Caribbean trunk, as part of an educational and awareness process.
The six corporations that have in their custody more than 1000 hts that MADS has arranged to carry out conservation actions in these forests. The drawings of the winners of the contest will be included in the calendar with national visibility and that UNDP intends to publish at the end of the current year..
This project is framed within the actions that CORPOGUAJIRA and the United Nations Development Program - UNDP carry out in the project that promotes the sustainable use and conservation of biodiversity in dry ecosystems to guarantee the flow of ecosystem services and mitigate processes deforestation and desertification especially in the Dibulla area.
