ANDI AND CORPOGUAJIRA ORGANIZE THE II POST-CONSUMPTION DAY

Each municipality in La Guajira has set up a site as a collection center for selective collection.
COMMUNITY FORMULA PRIORITIZATION MATRIX FOR THE TAPIAS AND SHRIMP BASINS The activities for the formation of the Planning and Environmental Management Plans for the Hydrographic Basin (POMCA´s) they progress at a good pace. The holding of two new participatory diagnosis workshops provided information for the characterization of risk management and water quality of the Tapias and Camarones river. Through cartography, The community designed the matrix for each of the basin areas to prioritize problems and potentials.. These matrices allowed us to establish the places that must be intervened, prioritized and included in the risk management program formulated for each basin. POMCA's are formulated to prevent environmental deterioration of watersheds, and prevent the impact on the quality of natural resources, mainly the quality of water and therefore its availability in different regions of the country, in this case the Tapia River basin.
