Corpoguajira is essential to generate environmental academic spaces, as was the case of the visit we received by the Regional Autonomous Corporation of Tolima, where we managed to develop an exchange of knowledge at the Jerez Agroecological and Tourist Center.
The visit by the director of Cortolima, Jorge Enrique Cardoso and his work team, was guided by the Deputy Director of Environmental Management, Samuel Lanao Robles and veterinarian Gerardo González on the pillar functions of this center, such as wildlife rehabilitation, production of forestry material and educational classrooms that lend themselves to generating environmental awareness.
Just a few kilometers from the Center they managed to free 30 needle alligators and a slobber, individuals with two years of life who were in the care of professionals and therefore were already able to return to their natural habitat.
Within these initiatives we share experiences, results and management in environmental aspects within our jurisdiction.
