Additionally, the work carried out in the comprehensive water resource management programs was highlighted., environmental land management, biodiverse forests and ecosystem services, environmental management, sectoral and urban; environmental education and exercise of environmental authority.

During the event, the four Municipal Mayors who will be part of the Board of Directors of Corpoguajira were chosen., this year: Rafael Ceballos Sierra (Riohacha), Claudia Gomez Ovalle (Villanueva), José Zabaleta López (El Molino) and José Moscote Pana (Fonseca).
