Environmental Planning ADVANCES AND CLIMATE CHANGE OF MARINE AND COASTAL ECOSYSTEM.

In the coastal marine territory of the country environmental planning units are established, Coastal Environmental called Unit - UAC, geographically defined areas for ordination and management. In the department they have identified two UAC: Alta Guajira and northern slopes of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta.

In the last session of the Technical Committee of the UAC Alta Guajira, he attended the MADS, National Parks, Corpoguajira and as guests, INVEMAR.

At that meeting the national need to include climate change considerations in the planning and environmental management of the coastal marine ecosystems territory and raised.

For this reason and in accordance with the provisions of the resolution 478 of 2016, Socialized INVEMAR methodology for drafting the roadmap, with the commitment to have this input later this year, and deliver the vulnerability analysis study for the municipality of Riohacha, by sea level rise, scale 1:50.000.
