As part of the project which aims to plant cover rehabilitation of degraded areas in the watersheds of rivers Urumita and El Molino, the streams of La Yaya and Las Pavas in the municipalities of Urumita, El Molino, Fonseca and Barrancas, They have advanced concrete actions that will point to the conservation of these water sources crucial for the sustainability of the beneficiary areas.

15.632 people in rural areas of 4 aforementioned municipalities will be benefited with important contributions that gives ecosystem recovery and rehabilitation of their coverage. During the project implementation they have developed training workshops to increase environmental awareness and empowering communities to the conservation of ecologically important areas.

Likewise, planting plant material is advanced with 15 species native to the region in an area of 60 hectares within degraded areas, Currently, the four municipalities have the corresponding canvases to isolation 35 kilometers.
