AVISO ESPECIAL Nº08 TEMPORADA DE HURACANES 2015

The S.A.T. Guajira informa que el día 01 de junio comienza oficialmente la temporada de huracanes para el 2015 en el atlántico y el Caribe hasta el 30 November, The forecasts are prepared by the National Hurricane Center in Miami in the United States of America. (NOAA), The early warning system office announces that according to the models, This season is expected to be below the normal average with 06 (six) a 11 (once) named storms,(the average is 12), of them 3-6 hurricanes (the average is 6) and only between 0-2 hurricanes category 3 the superiors (the average is 2).This is mainly due to the progressive warming of the Pacific Ocean., strengthening of winds at different levels of the atmosphere, especially with the current presence of an EL NIÑO phenomenon that is projected to be moderate, without ruling out that it takes on greater intensity, matter that will be known more precisely in the coming months. NOAA reports that the current NIÑO will interfere with the hurricane season, making it less active but without excluding a possible impact.
