Corpoguajira works on strengthening environmental management of protected areas department, through economic strategies, tax and financial, to ensure sustainable use of biodiversity in these ecosystems.

The work is carried out jointly with the Lenis Recreations Foundation; through this interesting management legal action to protect running, restoration, promotion and sustainable use of ecosystems protected area of ​​the peninsula, with the interaction of environmental authorities, in order to undertake projects and conservation activities, that give meaning and application of environmental regulations Colombiana.

Nowadays, tasks are performed aimed at strengthening the organization and operation of the Technical Committees Environmental Management of Protected Areas, further a process of formation develops Environmental Vigías, in participating communities living in close proximity to the Protected Forest Reserve Montes de Oca, Integrated Management District Serrania de Perija, Integrated Management District Musichi and Manantial de Cañaverales; on entrepreneurship and ecotourism.

The alliance, also it envisages strengthening the actions and efforts that allow obtaining resources and funding sources project, aimed at the conservation of ecosystems in Protected Areas Department; which would go to projects designed to ensure the lookouts, for the proper management of these areas.
