Network Node Uribia formed Youth

 

Corpoguajira departmental level supports the establishment of the five nodes Youth Network Environment, at the crossroads 160 boys who are committed to leading actions to care for and protect the environment from their places of residence.

With the inclusion of thirty young people from the Camino Verde de Uribia ethno-educational institution, The fifth Node of the environmental youth network at the departmental level was officially formed.

With this there are five municipal nodes (Riohacha, Maicao, Manaure, Albania and Uribia) that the National Youth Environment Network has in the department that Corpoguajira supports.

A total of 160 young people make up the Young People's Environment network in La Guajira, who lead environmental education processes and real actions in their municipalities and places of residence, promoting changes in habits and healthy practices to conserve and care for the environment.

The constitution of the Uribia Node that allows the strengthening of the Department's Environment Youth Network, It is framed in the national objectives of the National Youth Environment Network that seeks support, the promotion and creation of spaces for exchange and communication between young Colombians, through information processes, participation and management for sustainable development and environmental conservation throughout the country.

These integrated by young Nodes are intended to contribute to organizational and participatory processes that are generated in different departments, municipalities and localities in the new change generated by an environmental conscience that feels the need to take care of the environment as a source of human life and biodiversity, through a single tool: Environmental education.

Each Node is organized with a municipal assembly that results in the election of the General coordinators, Territorial, Communications, Thematic and Institutional. These coordinators will be in charge of working hand in hand with all the municipal coordinators of La Red Jóvenes Ambiente La Guajira..
