One of the commitments acquired with the communities of Puerto Estrella, was the execution of projects to address the problem of coastal erosion.

As part of the agenda, A meeting was also held with the residents of Puerto Estrella, to analyze the effects that coastal erosion is generating in that locality.

Among the commitments acquired with the community, Corpoguajira will lead with the Government of La Guajira and the Mayor's Office of Uribia; an inter-institutional cooperation alliance, that allows improving the quality of life of the residents of the northern area of ​​the department, through the implementation of actions aimed at mitigating the identified situations.
