Corpoguajira and Jayuir Walapuin Foundation, They are working on a project to educate and empower civil society project, and on different mechanisms for participation, regarding the protection of natural resources. Through this alliance, La Guajira will feature several environmental groups and community leaders veedurías legislation.

This exciting project will allow the community to monitor the investments for environmental projects, to perform properly and transparently.

The actions underway in Riohacha and Manaure; municipalities in which citizens belonging to work with civil organizations, representatives of the Community Action Boards and Youth Network Environment. The tasks also include training sessions on topics such as: solid waste management, efficient use of water, public space, urban management policy, environmental summonses and campaigns for climate change mitigation.
