The Corporation for the Sustainable Development of Chocó, Codechocó, requested horizontal support to Corpoguajira, with the purpose of training its officials and contractors in issues of valuation of ecological damage and the system of appraisal of fines for violation of environmental regulations.

During the day, all the experience of Corpoguajira in this matter was shared, by which the environmental authority has been recognized at the regional and national level.

The event was attended by environmental engineers, Agroforestry Engineers, biologists, Sanitary Engineers, Lawyers, inter alia.

For his part, the Director General of Codechocó, Teofilo Cuesta, sent his thanks to Corpoguajira for the support provided to his entity and motivated the other CARs in the country, so that this type of intercorporate stimuli is scheduled more often.
