Within the framework of the Environment Fair, FIMA 2012, Regional Autonomous Corporation of La Guajira, signed the agreement for the implementation of the Comprehensive Online Environmental Procedures Window (Vital), with the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development.

VITAL, It is a solution promoted by the Ministry of the Environment in conjunction with the CARs of the country and the Ministry of Information and Communications Technologies.. It has its origin in the Online Government Strategy of the Colombian State, that seeks to contribute to the construction of a more efficient State, transparent and participatory, that provides better services to citizens and companies through the internet.

“Through VITAL, Users of the Corporation may have to register processing requests, consultation of the status of the procedure, consultation of public information, electronic notification and electronic payments, among other services”, Pinto Jaime Bermudez stated, Director –It- of Corpoguajira

It is a single centralized system to manage chains of environmental procedures, that directs the information of the actors that participate in the management of environmental licenses and permits, and that involves the Authorities that grant them, requesting users, citizens among other entities.

In addition to the above, La Ventanilla has other user support applications such as electronic notification and online payment of services derived from the procedures..
