Regional Autonomous Corporation of La Guajira has listed the proposal corresponding to the ten-year plan for environmental education; The objective of it is to outline the central guidelines of the Public Policy of Environmental Education in the Department of La Guajira for the period 2019-2030.

This construction is advanced thanks to the alliance sealed with the Government of La Guajira, Uniguajira, the municipal CIDEAS, Public Force, Guilds and citizens in general.

The public Environmental Education Policy is titled FOR A GUAJIRA RESILIENT TO CLIMATE CHANGE. The substance of the document is focused on four strategic axes and nine thematic axes.

Training; Citizen participation and Environmental Governance; investigation, and, Communication are the strategic axes. Climate change, Circular Economy, Sustainable Production, Healthy Environments, Hydride feature, are some of the 9 thematic axes. Communication is the transversal axis that allows the design of strategies, content and use of media in accordance with differential approaches by gender, ethnicity and age groups that will allow us to assertively reach each place with the correct messages about the sustainable and sustainable use of nature's resources in the obligatory relationship with man.- Environment.

For this document, Corpoguajira works hand in hand with the municipal CIDEA who identify their environmental problems from the mission and vision of the group or entity they represent and formulate possible solutions together with the territorial entities.. Ten of the fifteen municipalities have worked judiciously on this formulation, whose guidelines are governed by the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development. (MADS).
