The General Assembly of the Association of Regional Autonomous Corporations and Sustainable Development concluded with a positive balance and excellent attendance. (ASOCARS), which had as its central objective the election of the new President of the Board of Directors of that organization.
Corpoguajira, was represented by its General Director, Arcesio Romero Pérez. During the Assembly, alternate events took place, among them, a working session with the Minister of Environment and Sustainable Development, Frank Pearl González and the directors of the CAR, the Risk Panel, the Session of the Fifth Commission of the House and Senate, the meeting of CAR Communicators, the delivery of the National Award for Environmental Journalism.
Likewise, the event was attended by the Vice Minister of the Environment (It) Aníbal Fernández de Soto, the Governor of Quindío Sandra Paola Hurtado and the different media outlets in the region.
