The Director General of Corpoguajira, Luis Manuel Medina Toro, participated in the discussion group of the Association of Regional Autonomous Corporations (Asocars), between the Minister of Environment and Sustainable Development, Gabriel López Vallejo and environmental authorities of the country.

The event was held in Paipa (Boyacá), day 20 and 21 November 2014. As part of the agenda the proposal of the environmental component of the National Development Plan was analyzed 2014 – 2018, whose chapter will be called "Green Growth", and the results of regional meetings of the National Environmental System, who led the Ministry in regions.

Similarly, the main changes were revised Decree 2041 of 2014 on environmental licenses and the visit and participation of representatives of the Minister on the Boards of Directors of the CAR was defined.
