With the purpose of generating a space for disclosure, promotion and marketing of inputs, goods, services, programs, environmental projects and processes, will be held in Bogotá from 6 the 9 de junio de 2012, the International Environment Fair –FIMA-, with the vision of becoming a hub for commercial transactions of technology and specialized services, for Colombia.

In this important event, Regional Autonomous Corporation of La Guajira, is participating with an institutional stand, in which some of the environmental programs currently being carried out by the highest environmental authority are announced, including the support provided to the Red Guajira Verde, which seeks to generate inter-company cooperation between the green producer organizations of the peninsula in order to improve business performance and achieve adequate production levels.

"Corpoguajira's balance has been exceptional, FIMA visitors have shown great interest in the products marketed by the department's green organizations. Spaces like these become a true showcase to publicize the tenacity of the Guajiros and the environmental management of the Corporation ", Pinto Jaime Bermudez stated, Director –It- of Corpoguajira.

Corpoguajira supported the participation of the La Macana Fiqueros Association, which is part of the productive chain of the conservation and sustainable use of biodiversity, through alternative cultivation of maguey, for the extraction of fibers for producing and packaging crafts. Its members are dedicated to growing, cut, I defibrated, dyeing and making handicrafts and packaging.

Visitors to FIMA 2012, They have also been able to meet at the Corpoguajira stand, the work of the Juan y Medio Production and Marketing Committee, formed by 20 farming families dedicated to growing organic achiote.

Another company that is also part of the delegation supported by the Corporation is Sanipublic, organization that offers advice on health and environmental services with high quality standards to the public and private sector, meeting and exceeding customer expectations through strategic alliances, using the latest technology.

FIMA 2012 is organized by Corferias, in partnership with the Ministry of the Environment and Sustainable Development.
