The event will take place 13 August 2013. The celebration will begin with an environmental conversartorio for journalists in the region.

The 17 December 2013, Corpoguajira hold its 30 Years of Creation. To commemorate this important event, various activities with the participation of different sectors of the department made.

The highest environmental authority, has designed a program that will begin in August and will run until the end of this year.

The celebration of the 30 years of the Corporation, will include the Competition "Gran Environmental Award", in which companies may participate (official and private), academy, media, among others; committed to the conservation of biodiversity in the region.

The company also undertake reforestation activities throughout the peninsula, introduction of marine turtles on the beaches of the department, environmental talks and seminars with journalists and former directors of Corpoguajira, Special awards to staff, an environmental fair in Riohacha, among other activities.

The 13 August, from the 9:00 am, in the auditorium of the Corporation, the launch of the official program of this great celebration will be held. The event includes an environmental discussion group for journalists in the region, which shall be guided by the Director of the Association of Regional Autonomous Corporations and Sustainable Development (Asocars), Ramon Leal Leal and Press Officer of the entity, Francisco Leal Matthew.
