In the Corporation Board Room, “Corpoguajira closer” was launched before the media, strategy that consists of bringing the entire institutional offer to the different communities of the department, in order to generate a space for dialogue and agreement.

Likewise, The aim is to bring environmental management closer to the communities to socialize the execution and progress of the programs and projects carried out by the Corporation., aimed at the comprehensive management of water resources, protection and recovery of strategic ecosystems, environmental education and awareness.

The strategy is also aimed at generating a rapprochement with environmental offenders, in order to control the effects caused on the population, for improper management of any activity.

The above, framed within the entity's commitments, to continuously improve all processes that lead to the rational and efficient use of natural resources and respect for communities, para garantizar una actuación transparente y responsable con el entorno natural.

Con estos espacios de diálogo, a la Corporación le permite conocer de manera directa las inquietudes de las comunidades, convocadas a través de los mecanismos de participación ciudadana; para dar respuesta inmediata y hacer seguimiento oportuno de los compromisos adquiridos en cada encuentro.

It should be noted, que dentro del Plan Estratégico Institucional, se concibió esta estrategia como una herramienta que consolida la proximidad de la máxima autoridad ambiental con las comunidades del departamento; frente al manejo de los recursos públicos y ambientales.
