Corpoguajira promotes Christmas decorations with recycled material

El material reciclable es el gran protagonista de una hermosa propuesta de decoración navideña que promueve Corpoguajra dentro de su programa navidades ecológicas. Elementos como discos compactos, cartón, papel, cables, plastic, glass, disposable cups and plates give life to gigantic animals typical of the existing biodiversity in La Guajira, illuminated with led lights, according to the need to save energy this Christmas.

The Iguana, the sea turtle, la danta, The toucan, The jaguar, the pink flamingo, fish and a wide variety of flowers adorn the facade of the Regional Autonomous Corporation of La Guajira, offering a visual spectacle full of color to own and visitors, At this time of year.

This project is one of the scopes of the alliance signed with Asongira to implement environmental education strategies on the proper management of solid waste and improve the landscape conditions of the old market.

The project will be complemented with the execution of formal educational strategies, cultural and environmental practices to 800 industry users. Additionally, campaigns will be carried out to collect solid waste and, from today, Two craft workshops will be held with recycling material, open to the general public.
