There is great potential in La Guajira for the development of ecotourism and ethnotourism., but it is necessary to combine efforts of different national institutions, regional and local, public and private, to work together on actions for its consolidation and strengthening, improving inter-institutional coordination, the quality of the services and activities offered, strengthening local community participation, in order to increase the number of local visitors, national and international to the region and develop activities in a sustainable way.
