Corpoguajira will carry out training on environmental requirements for tourism sustainability

Samuel Lanao Robles, General Manager Corpoguajira, explained that "the event seeks to train the providers of tourist services of the Department for the implementation of the environmental requirements of the sectoral technical standards of sustainable tourism, for the adoption of good management practices, that benefit the environment and contribute to the reduction of the impacts generated by this activity”.

In addition, indicated that registration will be open until 20 of July, and that the sessions will be held virtually during the days 21 and 28 of July and the 4, 11 and 18 August, in two-hour sessions.

Among the topics to be developed in the workshop are, inter alia: legal requirements, biodiversity protection, saving and efficient use of water and energy, waste management and management of chemical products and air pollution.
