De acuerdo con los pronósticos entregados por el Instituto de Hidrología, Meteorology and Environmental Studies –Ideas- la temporada de sequía en el país se extenderá hasta el mes de marzo de 2014

Por lo anterior, Regional Autonomous Corporation of La Guajira, hace un llamado a todos los habitantes y empresas de la península, because of the possible decline in river levels, which greatly affect water supply in the region.

The Corporation, exhorta a los diferentes actores, including water supply sector, health, productive, agricultural and forestry; to that already implement preventive and care measures, con el objetivo de proteger el recurso hídrico y atender diferentes situaciones que se puedan presentar en esta época del año, la cual estará marcada por la sequía y altas temperaturas.

– Hago uso eficiente y racional del agua.
