Corpoguajira adelantará, a partir de mañana, varias jornadas de socialización del programa de Formalización Minera en la Jagua del Pilar, Urumi, El Molino, Distracción, Albania y Barrancas.

The objective of these meetings is to characterize the non-formal small opencast mining operating in these locations, identifying productive activities of these communities, taking into account mining from its legal aspects, environmental and social.

The following is the schedule designed by the Corporation:

-Jagua del Pilar: 27 May at 8:30am

-Urumi: 27 May at 10:30am

-El Molino: 27 May at 2:30pm

-Distracción: 28 May at 8:30am

-Barrancas:28 May at 10:30am

-India: 28 May at 2:30pm

These activities Corpoguajira ratify the commitment to promote sustainable development in the region. It is therefore important for the institution to have the active participation of citizens in this process.
