The Director General of Corpoguajira, Luis Manuel Medina Toro, was invited by the Ministry of Mines and Energy, to the delivery of a hydrogeological exploration well, in Puerto Caldas (Risaralda ), taking into account the experience of the environmental authority of La Guajira in the development of resilience initiatives against the effects associated with climate change, the dry season and water shortage.

During the activity, Medina Toro, socialized with the attendees the impacts of the strategy implemented by Corpoguajira in Riohacha, Manaure, Maicao and Uribia, which has contributed significantly to mitigating the effects of the drought and improving the quality of life of thousands of inhabitants of the department..
