The 23 February 2012 from the 9:00 A.M. Corporate Assembly of the Regional Autonomous Corporation of La Guajira will take, in which the Governor of the Department and all the mayors of the peninsula will participate.

The presentation by the Director General is included in the agenda of this meeting., of the Action Plan management report, vigencia 2011, presentation of the tax auditor's report, the choice of 4 mayors who will be part of the Board of Directors of the entity for a period of one year.

As provided by law 99 of 1993, The Corporate Assembly is the main management body of the Corporation and is made up of all the legal representatives of the territorial entities of the jurisdiction, in La Guajira it is made up of 14 mayors and the governor.

Among the functions of the Corporate Assembly are knowing and approving the administration's management report and the income statements for each annual period., the election of some members of the board of directors and the fiscal auditor.
