Today and tomorrow, Corpoguajira discuss with the inhabitants of the southern department, solutions to environmental problems related to water resources, solid waste, deforestation and illegal mining.

Day 13 and 14 February 2014, Corpoguajira will meet from south of La Guajira, to discuss directly with the community environmental problems that plague this area of ​​the peninsula.

The initiative is part of the management conducted by the Corporation, through its action plan Prosperity Sustainability. In addition, entity professionals attend to requests and suggestions made by the inhabitants of the southern municipalities of the department.

The agenda is as follows:

– Thursday 13 February 2014: The session held in Fonseca, from the 2:00 pm, in the territorial headquarters Corpoguajira (Fonseca). At the conference also attended by the inhabitants of Hatonuevo, Barrancas and Distraction.

– Friday 14 February 2014: The session held in San Juan del Cesar, of 8:00 am a 12:00m, in the House of Culture.

– At 2:30 attention pm starts in Villanueva, where they will also cites communities Jagua del Pilar, El Molino and Urumita (Timiriwakos Plaza Calle 5 No 21 – 86 Villanueva).
