morning 17 December 2015, Corpoguajira hold its 32 Years of Creation. More than three decades of continuous work and set, environmental organizations, public entities, Private, academia and the general community; all under one vital purpose: the preservation and protection of natural resources, the ecosystems and biodiversity of this beautiful land, recognized as one of the richest in the country.

During his anniversary, the highest environmental authority will socialize with the community in general, the public and private sector, non-governmental organizations and control entities; at the public accountability hearing, advanced management during the term 2012 – 2015.

The activity will take place from 2:00 pm in the entity's auditorium (Cra 7 No 12 – 15, Riohacha). During the hearing, the Director of Corpoguajira, Luis Medina Toro, will present various recognitions to people and organizations that have contributed to the environmental management of the Corporation.

At the event, a detailed report of the achievements achieved by Corpoguajira will be shared with attendees., financial information and aspects related to the management of internal control will be presented.

Corpoguajira was created in 1983, attached to the National Planning Department, by decree 3453. It was modified by Law 99 of 1993. Today he is the highest environmental authority of the department and executes policies, planes, programs and projects on the environment and renewable natural resources; complying in a timely manner with current legal provisions, accordance with the regulations, standards and guidelines, issued by the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development.
