Corpoguajira is committed to working together with all the productive sectors of the department to generate corporate environmental responsibility processes, respecting the quality standards established by the World Health Organization. (WHO).

Framed in this national policy led in the department by Corpoguajira, the representatives of the hotel union of the municipality of San Juan, They came together with the purpose of recovering the municipal parks and some rural areas recognized as natural wealth par excellence., important to promote different forms or types of tourism.

The intervention of parks as an altruistic activity, to which more and more citizens are joining, is focused on cleanliness, lightning, tree planting and adaptation. The municipal mayor's office also joins this initiative.

The recovered parks are delivered to formally organized groups of people to awaken in them a sense of belonging.

Corpoguajira led the assignment of sponsors to the parks already intervened. Simón Bolívar Park and 20 July were officially delivered to the Boys Scout guided by lawyer Rodrigo Javier Hinojosa and to the 9th grade students of the Escuela Normal Superior educational institution.. Both sponsors will lead future activities for adaptation, conservation and recovery of municipal parks

The schedule of activities designed by the activists indicates that the next parks to be recovered are Las Delicias, Plaza Santander and the Ecological Park within the municipal seat. In rural areas, the El Salto spa in the district of La Junta will be intervened, the Puente de Corral de Piedras spa, Zambrano, El Totumo and the Cañaverales Spring.

The recovery activity of parks and tourist sites located in rural areas, It is an initiative of the owners of Arisuan hotels, Casa Murillo and Saraje whose purpose is to empower the municipality as a tourist attraction of the department. The San Juan hotel union carries out these actions thanks to the determined support of Corpoguajira, the accompaniment of the scouts, the tourist police, Electricaribe and the mayor's office.
