Corpoguajira, la Cancillería de Colombia, la Fundación Ecosfera, Chevron y la Alcaldía de Manaure; invite the Mayapo community to actively participate in the cleaning day that will take place today, 7 April 2016, from the 7:00 am.

The activity is part of an alliance signed for the development of actions for the management and sustainable use of solid waste and the improvement of the environmental conditions of the Wayúu communities..

La iniciativa hace parte del proyecto «La Guajira Vive Limpia», Through which actions related to the use of solid waste are carried out, generating a model that implements processes such as separation at the source, recolección, transporte, almacenamiento, selection of potentially usable materials and final disposal; all of the above with the active participation of the indigenous Wayúu.

The meeting place will be in front of the Mayapo community boarding school at 7:00 am. Together we can achieve healthier environments, clean ranches and communities with a vision towards environmental responsibility.
