Environmental day celebration of INETRAM of Mingueo allowed the fulfillment of two educational responsibilities: 1- measure the performance of the participants in the attainment of the goals of the required environmental challenges in the Sustainable Schools rally promoting the OAS, UNESCO and UNISDR and 2- compliance of strategies designed Environmental Education Projects (FORWARD) taking place in 18 Department institutions.

Environmental day of School of Rural and Agricultural Technical Mingueo (INETRAM) He aroused motivation in almost 900 young students of seven educational institutions in the area and are Baccalaureate, elementary Principal, San Martin, 7 de junio, Weipiapaa, Japan home and vanilla.

INETRAM, It is one of the ten schools that are registered in the Rally "school Sustainable Future". Environmental challenges in this competition are assumed to achieve qualification for the selection and participation in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Achievement of solid waste, Fair Alimetaria Used and Security were the target of environmental day in compliance with the challengers entered in the rally by INETRAM of Mingueo topics. In all creative challenges was the big winner.

The Rally is a competition that aims to transform participatory schools in Latin America and the Caribbean in education models, science and technology for sustainability and disaster risk management, oriented local community.

Environmentally productive day at the local level had the support of the wider community, Parents, teachers, I students, National Police, Colombia Foundation, Green and Clean Gecelca, Red Cross and Corpoguajira.

Rally sustainable schools is promoted by the Organization of American States (OAS), the United Nations Educational, Science and Culture (UNESCO), the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction in the Americas (UNISDR), United Nations Program for Environment (UNEP) and the governments of Peru, Costa Rica among others.

Emulating master chef, small ingenious recipes prepared by reusing leftovers. Banana Cake, preparations with stale bread and pies unbeatable cucayo were the winners of creativity.
