Corpoguajira led for four days an event that we aim at building a sustainable Guajira.

• Meeting of communicators CAR:
  Exchange of successful experiences between communicators from regional environmental corporations.
• Forum towards the sustainable development of La Guajira:
  An academic space where significant strategies were promoted to boost potential and renewable energies for the department.
• Extended Board of Directors CAR:
  15 CAR directors gave themselves space to discuss sharing administrative and mission issues for the conservation of the environment in their jurisdictions.
• Turtle releasing:
  More than 60 turtles of the Caretta caretta species on the beaches of Palomino after four months of care by Corpoguajira, Petrobras, Mundo Marino and the Peasants Association.
• Bird watching:
  Navio Quebrado lagoon tour, bird watching at the Los Flamencos Fauna and Flora Sanctuary.
• Inauguration of the VII Intercar Games 2019:
  Opening of the games with a walk along Av La Marina, folkloric presentation, Wayuú interpretation and presentation of the delegations.
• Games Intercar:
  18 delegations competed amicably in seven stages of the city, developing 11 sports.
• Closing meeting and awards games:
  Closing space with the recognition of the impacts generated and where the trophies and medals were awarded to different corporations.

IMPACTS
*Over 1.000 visitors brought with them the realization of the meeting.
*Assistance from 600 athletes representing 18 environmental corporations.
*Coverage of the hotel offer.
*Increase in the consumption of services in restaurants and transport companies.
*Positioning of tourist agencies that guided visitors to natural attractions such as: Shrimps, Palomino, Mayapo and Cabo de la Vela.
*Adaptation and restoration of sports venues.
*Dynamization of the economy through artisanal and native products acquired by visitors.
*Generation of direct jobs.
*Corpoguajira won a national trophy for its performance in the 11 sports.

The articulation between entities and the community was essential to develop an academic meeting, sporting and cultural of that magnitude.
