With massive participation, Corpoguajira presented the proposed Action Plan 2020-2023 in Virtual Public Hearing

The Virtual Public Hearing held today morning by the General Director of Corpoguajira had an active and massive participation, Samuel Lanao Robles and his team, to present the proposal of the Institutional Action Plan 2020 – 2023, Environmental sustainability, Everyone's Commitment.

At the hearing attended by representatives of different sectors such as the departmental and municipal governments, control entities, union representatives before the Board of Directors, academy and community in general, the most important aspects contained in the document that plans environmental management for the next four years were presented.

During the Virtual Public Hearing, the actions contemplated to improve the quality of the environment in the department were discussed., a proposal built with the participation of the community, mayors and other actors who made their contributions in 18 work tables carried out throughout the guajiro territory.

The space served so that previously registered citizens could make their suggestions and general aspects of the Action Plan known., interventions that will be evaluated when adjusting the document during the following business days to finally proceed to its approval.

The Regional Autonomous Corporation of La Guajira, Corpoguajira, Proposes to the community an Action Plan based on 6 strategic lines: comprehensive management of natural resources and the environment for the sustainable development of La Guajira, recover and maintain strategic ecosystems, environmental planning for the orientation of society towards the efficient occupation of the territory, participation for the development and dissemination of a more environmentally friendly culture with our environment, production and democratization of knowledge to support territorial environmental management and CORPOGUAJIRA as Lead Entity and Coordinator of environmental management in La Guajira.
