Speaking, Medina Toro socialized with attendees consolidated the most important achievements during his first term as Director of the highest environmental authority, likewise he detailed several actions to be developed over the coming years, including: strengthen the implementation of strategies to help ensure water supply to the population and productive sectors; increase the resilience and responsiveness to the phenomena of climate variability; the declaration of 150.000 hectares of protected areas; conservation and regulation of water sources and the articulation of the public and private sectors, for the preservation of biodiversity and overall sustainability of La Guajira.

Corpoguajira Director of Industrial Engineering at the University of La Guajira, Master in Leadership and Environmental Management at the University for International Cooperation UCI in Costa Rica and Specialist in Human Resources Management from the University of North. Has more than 15 years linked to the environmental sector, excelling in different positions within the Corporation as Head of the Advisory Office of Planning, Deputy Director of Planning, Coordinator of Strategic Planning, Coordinator of Human Resources Management, Administrative Coordinator and Director General in the life 2012-2015.
