The initiative aims to end the improper handling of waste in the capital of La Guajira

The strategy will ensure proper management of solid waste in Riohacha, especially in sectors like the old market and new; Avenida La Marina, trade career, center, inter alia. The implementation of the campaign will service and support urban environmental lookouts, Environmental Police and SENA students to work continuous monitoring and strengthen the socialization of it in ten districts of the city.

Activities are led by the Municipality of Riohacha backed by Corpoguajira, Interaseo, Ecoseda and National Police; entities from this month will integrate the Audit Committee and Environmental Control subpoena. The tasks are also supported by SENA and Electricaribe.
