El Día Mundial del Agua, se celebra anualmente cada 22 March, por iniciativa de la Asamblea General de las Naciones Unidas, with the purpose of calling on the inhabitants of the planet about the importance of preserving this important resource.

That same day in Maicao, A workshop on efficient use of water will be held, addressed to members of Community Action Boards, environmental leaders, students and members of the Youth Network for the Environment, of the border municipality.

The 22 March, the inhabitants of Riohacha, You will be able to enjoy a cultural and environmental afternoon, in the small square of the Nicolás de Federman park, from the 5:00 pm.

In the south of La Guajira, Ecological Nights and academic events were scheduled.
