The Green Business Generation Program of the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development was born in the year 2015 based on the Sector Budget Support agreement called “Sector Reform Contract (CRS)for Sustainable Local Development in Colombia” financed by the European Union.

This program has allowed the development, the promotion and promotion of both the supply and demand of the Green Businesses Generated – Accompanied and also the improvement of opportunities in the generation of income of the companies and communities that have been linked to the Program.

Green businesses in La Guajira have been growing exponentially allied with Corpoguajira, mitigate the ecological footprint in areas of deterioration, that's why, that the goal of the Green Business Office is to continue generating green businesses and for this 2018 the goal is 239 business.
