The Regional Autonomous Corporation of La Guajira- Corpoguajira- organized the first contest of Environmental Journalism in the department, whose official announcement took place in the auditorium of the Corporation, under the National Journalist Day.

The aim is to promote environmental journalism and post-conflict, a topic whose importance, It should take great importance in the media.

With this call, Corpoguajira highlights from the proposals and, and generate interest, create awareness among the population about the importance of environmental care in a scenario of peace; theme specially chosen to highlight this year.

For the first time this award is made in Corpoguajira as a sign of commitment to promote and strengthen environmental focus on Social Communicators and Journalists in the region.
