School environmental project inaugurated ecological park in the Educational Institution School Denzil

Successful implementation of PRAES school in the District of Riohacha thanks to the intervention of the provincial environmental authority was achieved, Corpoguajira. The Denzil Escolar Educational Institution – Dividivi Headquarters enjoyed the alternatives proposed by professionals to strengthen its reconciliation with the environment, implementing improvements in their practices with the environment.

Under the guidance of experts and teachers from the institution, sixth grade students 01 They built a park with discarded tires, having the result of a material reused and efficiently used to consolidate a recreation space, also contributing to environmental care.

Three moments were used for the implementation of the School Environmental Project.. A first moment: forty sixth grade students 01, teachers and professionals in the area with great enthusiasm adapted the area where the ecological park would be built.

A second moment: There was timely support from students from other grades who joined the day working hard for the objective that would benefit the entire educational community., building four modules of children's games: a cart, a swing, a climber and a tunnel or worm. Everyone participated in painting the tires with which the area would be enclosed and setting up the games..

The Interaseo company was also part of this moment with the donation of tires. Also the exercise of avoiding the dumping of reusable waste in the trash and giving it a more appropriate use was what allowed said company to join the process and continue with the generation of offers to strengthen the environmental awareness of the educational community through the use of waste..

A third moment: The students socialized the project and raised awareness in the student community about the importance of taking care of the environment through the reuse of solid waste..

Además, The Educational Institution, motivated by the overwhelming result of the PRAES, built other modules with waste that the students recycled daily.. This and other initiatives are worth highlighting, taking into account that education is key to the development of a sustainable planet..
