On the occasion of International Tourism Day, the La Guajira Ecotourism Node in coordination with the Departmental Directorate of Tourism and with the support of COMFAGUAJIRA, have scheduled the Sustainable Tourism and Solidarity Economy Forum, which will be carried out on 28 September 2011, from the 9:00 am, in the auditorium of Corpoguajira.
The activity will contribute to the strengthening and development of sustainable tourism in La Guajira, through motivation for the creation and establishment of processes and actions that are directed towards sustainable development of tourism and knowledge of alternatives in solidarity economy.
The event agenda will cover, among others, the following topics: community ecotourism in National Natural Parks (NNP), sustainable tourism and solidarity economy. Luis Otero Coronado has confirmed his participation as special guests, Director of DANSOCIAL and Carlos Mario Tamayo, PNN Sustainable Tourism Coordinator.
in the forum, professionals will participate, technical, students and public officials with performance in the areas of tourism management, managers of natural and cultural resources, operators, entrepreneurs and providers of tourism and ecotourism services and in general people interested in the topic of sustainable tourism.
