Durante seis meses, Corpoguajira y Ras Ltda, ejecutaron el estudio de ruido, para formular el Plan de Descontaminación Auditiva en Riohacha. Los trabajos incluyeron el monitoreo de 150 sources, between fixed and mobile.

The stationary sources with the highest emission, correspond to entertainment and fun activities. Half of the evaluated establishments registered a higher level at night, where a 38% present values ​​higher than 80 decibels. Regarding the trade areas, the one that presents the greatest problems is the New Market.

Regarding the mobile sources that make up the road network of the municipality, it was possible to establish that these generate a significant sound impact towards the community.

As a result of the implementation of the different phases of the project, a matrix of indicators was obtained from the Riohacha Noise Management Plan, follow-up actions will be implemented, control and continuous improvement of processes, taking as a reference the fulfillment of the decontamination goals formulated over time.
