VOLUNTEER FOREIGNERS compensate for their CARBON FOOTPRINT IN THE GUAJIRA

High land vegetations are environmental balance and order, regulating climate, The rain, storing a large proportion of CO2, raw material and giving us a number of benefits that living beings need to live, They are the conservation objective of the French Foundation Envol Vert (French green flight) fighting for forest preservation and biodiversity, in less developed countries and in France, in coordination with the local population, to promote conservation initiatives and help them develop new economic alternatives towards reforestation.

Through volunteers are placed in areas that truly need their intervention, one of those points has been the department of La Guajira which have supported the project construction tecnificados adequacy and nurseries in the municipalities of Urumita, Hatonuevo, Fonseca and Dibulla.

Corpoguajira participated in one of the days of planting held in the area of ​​Salamanca Bridge, Jerez river basin in the municipality of Dibulla, with the continued support of the community which has enabled him to recover forest clearings due to forest fires and logging constant that is evident in the area.

In this opportunity, accompanied by three French volunteers who through their movement Les't treep have definitely come to several Latin American countries to offset their carbon footprint by planting trees and providing resources for their sustenance.

During the day they were achieved reforestation planting 700 forest tree species: Campano (Sammanea saman), Leucaena (Leucaena leucocephala), Guaimaro (Brosimum alicastrum) Matar Raton (Gliricidia sepium) and Oak (Tabebuia rosea).

The environmental authority propels institution, organization, foundation or individual that promotes actions that preserve forests, giving protection to the wildlife that inhabits it.
