The Regional Autonomous Corporation of La Guajira,Corpoguajira, It is the first public entity in the Department of La Guajira, which promotes Telecommuting, which is regulated by Law 1221 of 2008, which seeks to establish special working conditions of teleworking, with the aim of improving the different scenarios of life, both labor, Personal and family of public servants, without prejudice to the provision of service to society offered. So that after completion of the pilot, the results a positive impact on the organizational climate and the quality of working life of participants, reflecting an increase in motivation and work performance.

For all this, senior management of the entity considered of great importance, implement and adopt the Model of Telework for public servants Corporation. The General Secretariat through the Human Resource Group and the Office of Tics, during the month of May 2018, He has been working performing verification visits many social requirements, safety and health at work and communications equipment and internet, necessary, that allow them access strategy.

The results of these visits were positive, achieving awareness of the benefit in family part, labor, economic and personal, for staff motivated and interested in participating in this modality,which some have pre-pensioned conditions, parents and single mothers.

Given that currently Corpoguajira is adhered to the Global Compact, thereby promoting actions aimed at compliance with the principles on labor standards and sustainable development goals, including labor practices are driven to facilitate the happiness of employees of the institution, highlighting the importance of internal customers to achieve compliance with the institutional mission.
