In the week of the 18 the 21 November the national meeting of regional nodes was held in Bogotá climate change, Corpoguajira space where allowed to introduce and Insular Caribbean regional node - NORECCI through exercise from the Technical Secretariat.

Representatives of regional nodes, Valley of the Sinu and San Jorge and two technical secretariats were given place in this event in order to address issues nodes in progress, territorial climate change plans, the new guide formulation of the PICC and the proposed amendment to the decree 0298 of 2016.

The latter, sisclima case of the decree which establishes the functions of the commission instersectorial climate change as functions of regional nodes; from experience that the Corporation are acting as a node for over 10 year it managed to bring the amendments to the articles was presenting the Minambiente for restructuring.

It is important to know that these regional nodes are inter-institutional and interdisciplinary working groups, made up of staff of public institutions and private local order, departmental, regional and / or national, articulately they are working with the coordination of the MADS.

The above, allowed to contribute to the formulation, promotion, coordination and policy development, planes; develop local and regional strategies and projects that promote the development of the territory taking into account the variables of climate change, thus seeking on the one hand reduce the vulnerability of the territory and increase their ability to adapt and mitigate the greenhouse gases, and others.
