Corpoguajira, the Seine Regional Guajira and MADS using the Ozone Technical Unit (U.T.O) will perform "Promoting Regional Workshop on Good Environmental Practices for the proper management of refrigerant gases as Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer - ODS", in fulfillment of the commitments made by Colombia in signing the Montreal Protocol validated by 196 more countries.

The national program for environmental management of waste ODS Montreal Protocol, It is circuncriben the purpose of the workshop that seeks to sensitize businesses and service technicians refrigeration and air conditioning industry – RAC and the end of refrigerants on the problem of depletion of the ozone generated effect Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer users (SAO).

During the awareness day, the creation of a database that allows undertake training and promotional support processes intended, for certification for job skills of technicians performing maintenance of refrigeration and air conditioning in the department.

To fulfill this purpose, It is scheduled conducting activity during the day Thursday 23 y viernes 24 March of this force, in the municipalities of Riohacha and Fonseca at the headquarters of Corpoguajira from the 8:00 a.m.

This workshop also seeks, promote the use of the Recovery Network, Recycling and regeneration of ODS and HFC refrigerant gases in the department of La Guajira.
