As an initiative of the Regional Autonomous Corporation of La Guajira CORPOGUAJIRA one was made Eco-walk paths and trails that lead to the Serrania del Perija DMI, protected area that also has jurisdiction of the municipality of El Molino. The objective of this exercise, In addition to contributing to a healthy life, it was getting to know the different ecosystems that surround the town center and the importance that these have for the quality of life of its inhabitants..

Strategic ecosystems such as the El Molino Spring, The Dam and the San Vicente trail were part of the route outlined by the organizers of the day, who at each point of importance interrupted the step to share valuable information to the attendees the ecosystem value that each station brings to the territory.

This important initiative was attended by about 80 people interested in being part of the environmental-sports proposal called by Corpoguajira and the municipal administration; plus community members and environmental leaders, Students from the Heliodoro Alfredo Montero Duarte school also attended.

On the tour, the participants enjoyed the beautiful scenery, the morning weather and bird watching offered by the Serranía del Perijá.
