This Sunday 29 from January, from the 6:00 am, in the parking lot of the Almirante Padilla International Airport (Riohacha), the launch of "I move by bike" will be taking place., a strategy designed by Corpoguajira, and that seeks to encourage the use of bicycles as an alternative means of transport in the region.
In that sense, the entity presents this proposal for sustainable mobility, so that the different entities and organizations, join this initiative; and reduce pollution levels in the city.
The execution of this strategy is framed within the activities that were programmed to celebrate two important dates within the ecological calendar: World Day of Environmental Education (today 26) and the World Day of Action against Global Warming, next 28 from January.
The cycle path, starts from Almirante Padilla Airport (starting point), keep on running 15 up to the first street and connects with the avenue bypass, until finishing in front of the Anas Mai Convention Center. The estimated time for the execution of the activity is four hours (6:00 a.m. a 10:00 a.m).
For the organization of this activity, there is the strong support of the Riohacha District Mayor's Office through the Secretary of Government and the Sports Directorates, Environment and Housing, and INSTRAM. As well as, the National Police, National Army, The Red Cross, Civil Defense and the sports companies Nina Kite and Trocheros Club.
