Over 200 Wayuu indigenous community of San Pablo have water supply 24 hours

With the drilling of approximately 150 meters for obtaining groundwater, by an extraction mechanism with submersible pump, by deploying solar panels for system operation; Corpoguajira assumed the responsibility of supplying water resources to more than 200 inhabitants of the indigenous community of San Pablo located in the municipality of Riohacha.

Taking into account the effects of climate change and the damage resulting from the actions of man with his intervention to nature, it is possible to mitigate a basic need for the human being. Corporguajira promoted and executed this project that to date allows the community to have water from 24 hours, likewise, the delivery of an irrigation system for the consolidation of a garden that allows them to grow products of their own culture for the family basket.

Water scarcity is no longer a priority problem for São Paulo, allowing them the development of other activities such as animal husbandry and cultivation to reduce malnutrition that affects the child population.
