Corpoguajira, through the Office of Early Warnings, informs Tips (Departmental and Municipal) Management
Disaster Risk and the wider community, the importance of measures to mitigate the return of El Niño, which records a high probability occur from November 2014, until early next year.

Meanwhile, the Institute of Hydrology, Meteorology and Environmental Studies (Idea), indicated that during the last month the probability of return of El Niño, increased by 72%.

Corpoguajira calls to different actors, including the water supply industry, health, productive, agricultural and forestry, to that already implement preventive and care measures, with the goal of protecting water resources and addressing the different situations that may arise during the drought.

The highest environmental authority of the department, Guajiro invites all to implement the following recommendations:
